The Leading Man of FWC

Deacon Ward is the loving, supportive and Spirit filled husband of the senior Pastor. He serves as chairman of deacons and a member of the Trustee Board. He is always ready and willing to help in any way necessary. His highlight of the year is the Annual October Men's Camping Trip. Stay tuned!!!
Katrina Ward
Senior Pastor

A native of Portsmouth, Virginia, Katrina is a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother. Her heart overflows with a deep passion for exploring the rich tapestry of the Bible. She holds a Master's degree in New Testament Studies, with a specific focus on Spiritual Formation, and is currently pursuing her PhD at Hampton University. As an ordained Elder and dedicated Minister, Katrina finds immense joy in sharing God's Word through powerful preaching and insightful teaching. She is particularly passionate about nurturing and uplifting those under her leadership , guiding them toward spiritual growth and fulfilling their God-given potential.
